Geotech Engineering Research & Development Center - SGES

Research-oriented scholars founded Sarathy Geotech and Engineering Services Pvt Ltd with an inherent robust Research & Development centre within the organisation. Though the organisation always had an R&D bent in all our activities, a separate R&D centre was set up in 2013. Currently, the R&D centre has a dedicated team of scientists, research scholars and support staff equipped with advanced equipment and software to carry out contract research programs and practical process research and development. This has led to local and international collaborations to further the research programs and innovatively solve industry problems.

The principal mandate for the R&D centre is to look deeper into the problems of geotechnical engineering practice to develop new testing methodologies and refine/develop analysis and design procedures with innovative approaches. SGES R&D Centre has a separate space to insulate it from the daily hustle and bustle of the operations. It is housed within the same campus to ensure a healthy transfer of knowledge, information and exchange of ideas.
